Favio Nelson was born in Jambaló Cauca, and lives in his farm with his wife and five children. In 2012, Favio started to produce coffee to be able to have his own business and to be able to stay in the rural area. He didn’t want to move to the city, he wanted to keep living in the farms.
Favio started in 2012, with 2000 plants of coffee. He saw coffee as a sustainable business that could give many opportunities to him and his family. Since then, he has been able to plant new lots. Right now, Favio has 5000 coffee plants. Favio is very happy producing specialty coffee, he likes agriculture and he wants to transmit this passion to his family.
