Lot 15: MELIDA ROSERO ORDOÑEZ

Melida Rosero has been married to Eliut Nilso Pinto for the last 16 years. They are the owners of Eliodoro Farm, where they live with their two children: Richard Andrwe and Valery Estefany. The farm is located in Los Llanos municipality. Melida has been a coffee grower for the last 20 years, and she started producing specialty coffee four years ago. They have received different courses from the Extension Service of the FNC, to produce high quality coffee.

All the labors are done by the family and friends, that guarantees that all the processes are carefully done.

Melida and her family are very proud of being part of the finalists of Colombia Land of Diversity. They are representing their department and region in this important competition. Melida was not able to be part in the different events of the competition, as in May she had health issues, she had a brain aneurism that doesn’t allow her to go to the town. The support of his husband and kids has been very important for Melida in this process. She hopes to recover soon to keep producing excellent quality coffees.
