Oscar was born in 1974 and has been living in Rivera, Huila where he has the farm Filadelfia. Oscar has had the farm for 15 years, where he lives with his wife Sandra Patricia Bermudez and is 6 children. Oscar has been involving his family in every process of coffee, so they can share the passion for coffee as he does. Right now, two of the children are taking barism courses.
Oscar has been producing specialty coffee for the last years, he was able to participate in a regional contest in Tello Huila, where he was the winner of the competition. He has been able to improve the facilities and the farms, always thinking in how to show to his family that producing coffee and leaving in the farm is an excellent option. Oscar wants to give complete education to his children, so they can go back to the farms to apply all the knowledge in the coffee business.
