Neyibia cuellar cuellar lived on the farm until she was seven years old, participating in the coffee harvest with her parents. her mother roasted coffee by hand, in a wood oven. The aroma of coffee spread through the house and its surroundings. No doubt this captivated her. She went to study together with her sister in Fomeque. She graduated there as a pedagogical bachelor. in the late eighties, she went to college, where she studied economics. this career was financed by her father with the coffee harvest. Her father died in 1994 and the farm was left in the care of the neighbours for 14 years. It was a sad stage because her family also suffered from the kidnapping of her sister's husband. She then began her working life successfully, but with nostalgia and the hope of returning to the farm one day. In 2018, she obtained the certification of the farm as a civil society natural reserve. In June 2020, due to the pandemic, she returned to the farm. She participated in the tasks of the 2020 harvest, together with the farm administrator, the neighbours and her partner. In 2021, she obtained first place in the acidity attribute in the sixth colombia tierra de diversidad national quality contest. With resources derived from the award, she set up a roasting plant in the urban area of the municipality of fómeque. Currently, she roasts her coffee and provides the maquila service to small coffee growers in the region. Together with the neighbours of the farm, she forms a women's association, which seeks to generate added value in coffee and its derivatives. In this way, she hopes to help transform the lives of her neighbours and their families through the training and participation of them and their children in the value chain of high-quality sustainable coffee.
