Lot 1: NEYIBIA CUELLAR CUELLAR

Neyibia grew up in the farm where she used to help her parents in all the process of coffee. She remembers that her mother roasted the coffee in a wood fired oven, and that smell will always remember her of her happy childhood.

Neyibia moved to the city where she studied Economics, and since then she left the farm. In 1994 her father died and the farm was administered by one neighbour. For 14 years and because of security reasons, Neyibia couldn’t visit the farm. She was very successful in her professional career an an economist but she always wanted to go back to the farm to work as her father: passionate for coffee. Because of the Covid19, she was able to move to the farm and get involved in all the processes.

Neyibia wants to improve all the processes in the farm with the help of the neighbours, to be able to export their high-quality coffee, by generating value to the community around the farm.
