Luis Alvaro Vargas has been a coffee grower for many years. He produces coffee and also has some cows for milk production. He is married and has a daughter. His wife is going through difficult health conditions, but she is supporting Luis Alvaro in the production of specialty coffee.
He has been focused in specialty coffee for the last years, being winner in the Third Version of Colombia Land of Diversity, and Winning the Antioquia Best Cup un 2019-2020. Luis Alvaro produces Caturra Chiroso, a variety that is produced mainly in Urrao, Antioquia, the variety that has allowed him to win these contests. Luis Alvaro is looking forward to establish a long relationship with a client, that can help him improve his farm and his beneficio. He knows specialty coffee is the only way to be profitable when producing coffee.
